The tortilla chips and salsa were delivered hot and fresh. The Queso was delicious. I had the quesadilla and if it was really, really good. It was enough food, I had to take some home. The waitress was very attentive.

It's a nice place with good Mexican food, though like most Mexican restaurants (in my experience here so far), the chimichanga got a bit soggy and the veggies inside were soft. A suggestion, even though Google says open throughout the afternoon and evening, it's closed from 3 pm to 5pm. Vegetarian options: If you ask the server, there are some options where you can opt for veggies instead of meat.

The best Mexican restaurant in Knoxville. Family owned and genuinely good people. The food is incredible. Great portions and the occasional family recipe pops up on the weekends. Good margaritas and drink specials.
